All referees should be familiar with the official USAPA rules. They are available on the USAPA.org website and the Tournament Director should have a copy available on site. Section 14 defines the Referee's responsibilities. Section 2 defines acceptable balls, clothing, etc. It's recommended that Tournament Directors supply referees with a copy of Section 14 and other key sections and review them before a tournament.
